Semblio File is self-contained. Does it mean that if I am going to deploy a learning material via internet, the user must download the whole project file before he can execute it?

What about if a learning materials contains a lot of videos content? The file size must be very huge. How can we improve the effectiveness of delivering learning resources if it contatins a lot of media file via internet?

Hello plk83-

Our suggestion is you can choose to host the content on a server and reference it from the file.  So long as it is “SafeVideo” (a CLR-permission concept) it will be accessible.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Will Semblio provide more online accesibility feature in the later version?

For example, I am thinking we may embed all the videos into a project file. When the client attempt to download the project file from the server, it will only download the manifest while the activtiy resources will be downloaded on demand.

That is an interesting feature request that we will consider in our future product planning.
Thanks.
